Telling the Difference
By S.L., DLSU-M on 18 March 2012 Share:

I learned a lot from the Bible-study. Even if our beliefs were not all the same, we all had faith in God and that is where we were all in common. I learned more from the Bible-study than listening to Mass. Bible-study taught me many things that Mass did not and I enjoyed it because the brothers and sisters helped me understand the topic more by sharing from their experiences. We had a topic in each meeting and it was explained really well. I learned more about God and more about a person's life. It was only in the Bible-study that I learned that a person has three parts: the spirit, the soul, and the body. One of the topics that I really liked was when the brothers and sisters discussed about moving on and going on. I realized that we should never stop. We should get on with life. The thing that struck me was that we should not keep on repenting the same sin that had already passed but should move on and just do not do it again. The important thing is we should never stop. I also learned that the spirit is the instrument [organ] to communicate with God and that Jesus is the ladder to heaven. These are some of the things that I learned.
